## Summary

#### Overview
**The Kenya National Highways Authority invites bids for a Performance Based Contract for the maintenance of Chebarbar - Lessos - Nabkoi (B12) Road.** This is funded through the Road Maintenance Levy Fund and open to NCA-registered contractors in Categories NCA 4–6. Eligible bidders must meet mandatory requirements (certificate of incorporation, NCA Annual Practising Licence, Tax Compliance, CR12 within 6 months of tender opening) and attend the mandatory pre-tender site visit (see Tender Document). Prior similar road maintenance experience and qualified technical staff are expected.

#### Requirements
- Copy of certificate of incorporation
- Copy of valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (Classes 4–6)
- Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate
- Copy of CR 12 form issued within the last 6 months
- Serialise all pages of the tender submission
- Copy of PBC Certificate for at least one director
- Additional: evidence of similar projects, qualified personnel, current workload
- Eligibility: max two tenders per bidder; directors/companies with ongoing works or previous awards may be restricted; comply with PPADA and other Kenyan regulations; foreign bidders must meet 40% local content; NCA registration required before contract signature
