## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of a Performance Based Contract for the maintenance of Ukunda–Lunga Lunga (A7) Road, including maintenance, rehabilitation, improvement and related works, funded via the Road Maintenance Levy Fund.** Bidders should be construction firms registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in categories NCA 4, 5 or 6, with capacity for road maintenance and related works, and able to meet the region’s pre-tender/site-visit requirements (Coast Region).

#### Requirements
- Mandatory submission with bid:
- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- Copy of Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (categories 4–6)
- Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
- Copy of CR12 form (issued within 6 months of tender opening)
- Serialise all tender pages
- Copy of PBC Certificate for at least one Director
- Other: relevant similar experience, qualified professional/technical personnel, current workload
- Eligibility constraints:
- Bidder may bid max two tenders; only one award per FY
- Directors with ongoing works or certain cross-company ties may be disqualified
- Foreign bidders: at least 40% of contract inputs must be from Kenyan sources
- Local registration with NCA; compliance with PPADA; no canvassing
- For JV bids: joint venture agreement or intent must be provided
- Site-representative documents (pre-tender site visit) to be presented as specified (see Tender Document note on EBK/KETRB/IET registration)
