**Procurement of PPE and Uniform for the Regional Office.** Open to suppliers with PPE, safety gear and uniform production/embroidery capability, and with the ability to meet CSD and SARS/B-BBEE requirements.

#### Requirements
- Compliance with Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and tax requirements (SARS PIN or TCS where applicable); provide evidence.
- Mandatory pre-qualifications: submit samples of listed items on the closing date (dust coats, T-shirts, overalls, safety boots, gloves, glasses, masks, etc.) at 11:00; failure leads to disqualification (see attached PPE/Uniform document).
- Specific goals with points (e.g., youth ownership) and corresponding documentary proof (B-BBEE/emes or qse status).
- Use of official bid forms and contracts (SBD 1, SBD 3 pricing, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7) and adherence to GCC/SCC where applicable.
- Price must be firm (or as specified) with a 90-day validity; delivery lead times indicated (10–20 working days upon award).
- The department reserves the right to not award the lowest bidder.
