## Summary

#### Overview
**This RFQ seeks professional services for a multi-disciplinary professional team to extend the Johannesburg Zoo Gorilla Enclosure (Phase 2).** Bidders should be multi-disciplinary built-environment firms capable of Architectural, Civil & Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, and Construction Health & Safety, with appropriate SAQA accreditation if outside South Africa, and registration with SACAP/ECSA/SACQSP where applicable.

#### Requirements
- A multi-disciplinary team including: Architect, Structural Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, and Construction Health & Safety specialist (Key Personnel).
- Mandatory registrations and accreditations: SACAP, ECSA, SACQSP; SAQA accreditation for foreign qualifications; Proof of CSD registration.
- Administrative documents: valid proof of address for directors, COIDA/Good Standing, shareholder IDs, JV agreement (if applicable), ID copies, and complete tender documentation.
- Compliance: no correction fluid; all corrections initialed; complete BOQ/spec (where relevant); all MBD forms submitted.
- Site attendance: at least one professional engineer must attend the compulsory clarification/site briefing.
- Special insurance/quality: Professional Indemnity insurance (post-award, before construction); regulatory body submissions (e.g., ECSA) as required.
- Evaluation: 80/20 or 90/10 preference rules; documentation to support specific goals (e.g., 51%+ women-owned, locality within COJ) as applicable.
- Documentation and submission integrity: sealed submissions; may be rejected if any regulation defaults occur.
