## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of cloud services including disaster recovery for a period of 36 months.** The Commission for Gender Equality seeks a fully managed Stack Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud platform with Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), to migrate CGE’s virtual servers and workloads to the cloud and provide ongoing management for 36 months. Eligible bidders are established South African cloud providers with at least five years’ SA cloud experience, demonstrated references, and capabilities in migration, security, monitoring, and DR/testing. See attached document CGE/T-08/2026/27 for details.

#### Requirements
- Minimum experience: at least 5 years’ cloud services in SA; 3 reference letters for similar work.
- Staffing: at least two staff with international cloud qualifications and ≥5 years related experience (CVs to be attached).
- Technical capabilities: fully managed IaaS with DRaaS, SDN, RBAC, multi-tenant admin, encryption, monitoring, backups, DR tests (quarterly), RTO/RPO aligned to requirements, 99.9% uptime, SA-based DR site.
- Data and security: encryption at rest and in transit; continuous security monitoring; centralized logging; backup and restoration testing.
- Compliance: submit on CGE tender document; meet SCM policy, BBBEE and PPPFA requirements; CSD registration; tax clearance.
- Pricing: firm prices (no escalation unless noted); pricing valid for 120 days; Annexure 4 price adjustments if applicable.
- Deliverables: migration of listed CGE servers to cloud with minimal disruption; training and skills transfer to CGE ICT staff.
