## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of DECO for University of Fort Hare research and innovation.** UFH invites suitably qualified decoration/event-management suppliers to quote for decoration services, including venue setup and related production, per attached specifications. Suitable bidders: decor/event management firms with capacity to deliver beyond basic decor. Key eligibility includes compulsory CSD registration, a valid tax clearance, and BBBEE status. The estimated contract value is below R50m and will use a price- and BBEE-based evaluation (80/20). Submission is by email to the UFH contact and must follow the RFQ 0112.SM/2026 format.

#### Requirements
- Compulsory registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Original Tax Clearance Certificate.
- BBBEE status level of contributor (certificate or sworn affidavit) and attach CSD summary report.
- Submit in the prescribed format: pricing schedule and SBD forms as applicable (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7.2, SBD 8, SBD 9) along with pricing/declaration documents.
- Price evaluation uses 80/20 (price vs BBEE) for contracts up to R50m; bidders may be scored on Specific Goals.
- Closing date and submission format as per RFQ document; UFH may reserve rights to amend or refrain from awarding.
