## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of land access, operational support, consultation, and optional pilot/drone services for drone-based research activities.** Bidders with UAS operations, land access capability, aviation club experience, or licensed UAS operators should consider bidding, especially those familiar with field deployments and radiation-safety coordination.

#### Requirements
- Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliant; provide CSD Summary Report.
- Complete and submit SBD 4 (Bidder’s disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) with BBBEE documentation.
- Provide proof of landowner permission and, if applicable, landowner consent for temporary placement of sealed radioactive sources.
- Demonstrate UAS capabilities and compliance: UASOC, UASLA, relevant endorsements, RPL/RPC, insurance, and site permissions; provide aircraft details if offering supplier-owned drones.
- Operational safety readiness: access to fire extinguishers and first-aid, formal safety procedures, and a designated safety contact.
- Pricing and project scope: complete Pricing Schedule; pricing valid for 60 days; payment terms 30 days from receipt of invoice; two-year appointment with no guaranteed minimum quantity.
- Proximity and site requirements: ability to operate within ~150 km of iThemba LABS; provide a minimum 100 m × 100 m survey area and safe operating space for LOS flights up to 30 m above ground.
