## Summary

#### Overview
**Mintek seeks to establish a panel of external legal service providers to supply legal services over a three-year period (36 months).** The panel covers areas across Corporate Governance, Commercial Contracts, IP/Technology Transfer, Employment/Labour, Litigation, and related advisory work. Eligible bidders are law firms registered under the Legal Practice Act, with admitted and in-good-standing attorneys, current Fidelity Fund Certificate, and capacity to handle Patents prosecutions; Registrations with CSD and SARS tax compliance are also required.

#### Requirements
- Registered legal practice under the Legal Practice Act; proof of registration with the Legal Practice Council
- Admitted legal practitioners in good standing; valid Fidelity Fund Certificates
- Evidence of patent attorney registration for Patents prosecution
- Compulsory site briefing attendance (certificate of attendance to be attached)
- Tax compliance status (PIN or TCS); where applicable, CSD registration numbers
- If a JV/consortium, each party must meet requirements and JV must be CSD-listed
- Submit all tender documents (MTF 01–04, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, CSD report, JV agreements if applicable)
- Bidder must bid for at least two categories
- Responsiveness and minimum functionality thresholds (Phase 2/3; minimum 70 points per category; overall 80/20 weighting) 
- Compliance with PPPFA, VAT, and related regulations
