## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of Plant Hire Services (12 months) across four clusters, including 2x Motor Graders, 2x Path Foot Rollers (12 tons), 2x Water Tankers (1600 L) and a TLB, for uMzimkhulu Local Municipality.** Bidders with heavy plant hire experience, roadworks capability, and the capacity to supply or lease the listed equipment are invited, subject to CSD registration and the specified compliance and evaluation criteria (cluster details are in the tender advert).

#### Requirements
- Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration proof or number
- MBD forms: MBD 4, 6.1, 8 & 9
- Certificate of Authority to sign all documents (on company letterhead)
- Tender document signed by an authorized person
- Proof of ownership or access to all required plant/equipment per cluster
- Foreman/Supervisor CV with 10 years’ road/construction experience and valid driver license (Code 8+)
- Operators/Drivers CVs with 10 years’ heavy-plant experience, certified competence, and appropriate licenses (Code 14 with PDP)
- Certified copies of relevant Competence Certificates
- Price validity: 180 days
- Evaluation: 80/20 system; minimum 50% per segment for functionality and plant/equipment; specific goals scoring for RDP ownership and local origin (see advert)

PROVISION OF PLANT HIRE SERVICES (12 MONTHS CONTRACT) Cluster 2: • 2x Motor Grader • 2x Path Foot Roller(12 tons) • 2x Water Tanker (1600l) • TLB

Conditions: Tender documents will be available on the municipal website (www.umzimkhululm.gov.za) and will also be available from the cashier at 169 Main Street, uMzimkhulu, 3297 upon the non-refundable payment of R250 per document or a bank guaranteed cheque made out to uMzimkhulu Municipality during working hours between 09:30am and 16:00pm from the 06th of October 2025; cut-off time for buying documents is the 13th of October 2025, 15 minutes before the briefing time.

Non-compulsory briefing meeting is scheduled to take place at uMzimkhulu Municipality Makhosini Building Boardroom,247 Mzimkhulu Mlonyana Street, uMzimkhulu 3297.
