## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of Professional Consultants for Refurbishment and Construction Projects and Ad Hoc Services.** SAMRC invites bids from suitably qualified professional consultants to support refurbishment and construction projects at SAMRC buildings in Pretoria, Durban, and Cape Town. The contract is envisaged for 36 months (with annual reviews and possible extension of up to 24 months).

A compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 30 July 2026 at 10:30 via Microsoft Teams.

#### Requirements
- Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to submitting bids; provide your CSD supplier number and unique registration reference number.
- Bid documents are downloadable from the SAMRC website; no hardcopy documents will be issued (downloadable from June–July 2026) (see Advert - Appointment of PCS (1).pdf).
- Responsive bids are evaluated on functionality, then an 80/20 Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act score.
- Submit 1 original hard copy plus 1 USB containing full tender information; alternatively bids may be submitted via the SAMRC Current Tenders portal.
- Non-compliance or late submissions will result in disqualification; documents/USBs submitted on time will not be returned.
- Appointment is subject to signing a Service Level Agreement; contract duration is 36 months with annual review and potential 24-month extension.
- Bidder(s) must be able to supply all items indicated in the bid specifications.
- The bid validity period is 120 days after the closing date.
