## Summary

#### Overview
**The RFQ seeks the provision of round log transport from Thathe Vondo to Timbadola Sawmill as and when required.** SAFCOL invites qualified timber transport providers (forestry/logistics) with equipment and operating capability in Entabeni, within lead distances up to 90 km; the estimated contract value is up to R500,000.

#### Requirements
- Equipment (mandatory): minimum of three 6x4 or 6x6 rigid truck tractors with 2–3 axle log trailers; three-wheel loggers for loading; Certificates of Fitness and licences in order.
- Ownership/registration: ENatis documents (RC1 or LCO) or proof of purchase; lease/rental agreements if leased.
- Qualifications/compliance: SANAS-accredited B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; SARS tax clearance; CSD registration; ID copies of directors.
- JV/consortium: Consolidated B-BBEE certificate required.
- Operations: equipment must be ready immediately after award letter; rates to be shown in Schedule 6; rates exclude VAT and handling.
- Documentation to submit: fully completed RFQ on company letterhead; SBD forms; BBBEE; tax clearance; CSD/MAAA; ID copies; rate schedule; rate sheet completed (Schedule 6).
- Evaluation criteria: Administrative Compliance, Mandatory Evaluation (equipment/configuration), then Price (80) and Specific Goals (20); 51%+ Black Ownership yields 20 points.
