## Summary

#### Overview
**Provision of an excess waiver for vehicle insurance cover for approximately 200 vehicles over 18 months (01 Oct 2026 to 31 Mar 2028),** issued as a merSETA RFQ. Suitable bidders are insurance brokers/insurers with fleet risk coverage capabilities and related regulatory compliance (CSD, BBBEE, VAT).

#### Requirements
- Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Suppliers Database (CSD) with a valid number.
- Tax matters in order; reflect tax status on CSD; provide tax clearance as applicable.
- Complete and submit the official merSETA forms: **SBD 4**, **SBD 6.1**, and **SBD 7.1**; use the merSETA pricing schedule; provide pricing that is firm and VAT inclusive.
- Include BBBEE documentation (certificate or affidavit) and any other certification required by the specifications.
- Prices must cover all related expenses (e.g., delivery/administration) and be valid for at least 60 days from closing.
- Apply the 80/20 Preferential Procurement system; provide documentation to claim specific goals (e.g., ownership by Black/ PwD, etc.).
- merSETA may award to more than one supplier or part of the quotation; may conduct site/ documentary verifications.
- Payment terms: invoices paid within 30 days of a substantiated claim.
