## Summary

#### Overview
**GAAL seeks to appoint a reputable service provider to deliver employee vetting, verification of qualifications and credit checks for a three-year period.** Target bidders are firms with capabilities in identity Vetting, qualification verification (including Grade 12 and higher), employment verification, credit bureau checks, Persal/Public Sector status, and fingerprinting, with appropriate public-sector compliance and certifications.

#### Requirements
- Service scope: verification of Qualifications, Credit Bureau handling, Employment Confirmation, Credit Checks, Persal/Public Sector Employment Status, and Fingerprints (as needed).
- Administrative/compliance: complete and sign SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; provide Full CSD report, proof of address, disability medical certificate (if claiming disability points); CSD registration; complete Pricing Schedule; submit all mandatory documents (see attached timetable Table 1).
- Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; if no PIN, provide CSD number; separate TCS for consortium members; no bids from state employees.
- Evaluation: Gate 0 mandatory criteria; Gate 1 uses 80/20 price vs specific goals (ownership by black people, women, youth, disability, SMMEs/QSEs, rural/township location) totaling 20 points for specific goals.
- Contract: three-year term; supplier due diligence and potential negotiations.
