## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of refurbishment works for the Unit 3 Analyzer & Tower Buildings at Northern Works (City of Johannesburg Water).** Bidders should be experienced in building refurbishments, hold CIDB grading 1GB, be registered on CSD, and meet safety, BBBEE, and financial/contractual prerequisites.

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading: 1GB (minimum).
- Returnable documents: Original Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates in arrears check, completed MBDs (4, 6.1, 8, 9) and PDF on company letterhead.
- CSD registration and supplier number; proof of SARS tax clearance.
- Safety, health & environment: baseline risk assessment, induction, medicals, PPE, safe work procedures, letters of good standing, and a Safety File (Minimum SHE Requirements for Construction Related RFQ projects; see attached).
- Reference letter for similar work; ensure compliance with the Safety File, and insurance/compensation requirements.
- No bids from state-employed persons or tender defaulters; compliance with GCC, PPPFA, and Johannesburg Water policy.
- Pricing must be firm; include all taxes; completion and delivery terms to be stated.

- Briefing: Compulsory site briefing 3 August 2026, 10:00 at Northern Works Waste Water Treatment Plant.
