## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of rehabilitation works for Edward and Uitlander Street/Steenbok Street in Vryheid.** Target bidders are construction contractors with CIDB category 7 CE/GB or higher (or equivalent in joint ventures) and proven capability in labour-intensive highway/streets works (see attached tender document for specifics).

#### Requirements
- CIDB: 7 CE/GB or higher (or joint venture with combined grading meeting the tender value)  
- CIDB registration and eligibility (EPWP/workforce requirements) and on-site management capability  
- Tax compliance: valid Tax Clearance or SARS PIN; if joint venture, each party must provide appropriate certificates; where no TCS, provide CSD number  
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; proof of CIDB grading; company registration documents  
- Financial and insurance: proof of public liability insurance min R5 million; proof of ability to fund/post a performance bond  
- Documentation: full completion of all MBDs (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and supporting schedules; feasible JV agreements if applicable  
- Prequalification evidence: water/electricity rates (current municipal account), letters from Inkosi/Induna or lease if applicable; ID copies of directors; experience letters/references for similar works  
- Compliance: no service-of-the-state disqualifications; no tender defaulter listings; declaration of interests and past SCM practices (MBD forms)

#### How to Apply
