**Repair and maintenance of the City of Cape Town’s railway sidings across six sites (Athlone Refuse Transfer Station, Atlantis Industrial, Epping 1 & 2, Ndabeni, Sacks Circle and Vissershok landfill site) for a 36-month contract.** Open to tenderers who meet all Conditions of Tender and are registered on the City’s Supplier Database and the National Central Supplier Database (CSD). #### Requirements
- Compulsory site visit/clarification meeting and mandatory attendance (site/clarification details in the tender document).  
- Mandatory key personnel: Track Master (Rail Construction and Rail Maintenance Level 3) and Track Welder (Artisan Level 4); CVs and certified certificates must be submitted (only one person per position). Replacements require Employer approval.  
- Minimum functionality score of 60/100 with demonstrated railway maintenance experience and evidence (completion certificate, reference letter, final invoice).  
- Demonstrated experience in comparable rail repair/maintenance projects; JV members’ experience evaluated collectively.  
- Compliance: tax clearance (SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN), CCT Supplier Database registration, and CSD registration; adherence to the SCM Policy and related declarations (Conflicts of Interest, etc.).  
- Safety: compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act; where requested, submission of a Health and Safety Plan.  
- Preference and Specific Goals: compliance with 80/20 price-preference and evidence for specific goals (e.g., MSE, ESD/SED, Skills Development or Employee Ownership) via Schedule F and supporting documents.  
- Documentation: complete Schedule F13 with CVs and certificates; other documents as required by the tender (e.g., Form of Offer, Schedule F, etc.).
