  - Artisan: N3+ in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation with Trade Test and PLC programming capability; 3 years post-trade experience.  
- Project documentation: detailed works programme showing milestones and potential delays.  
- Tax and supplier registrations: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or, if unavailable, CSD number; where relevant, proof for JV/consortia.  
- Insurance and risk: insurance and bonds per contract data; employer-provided insurance levels and contractor responsibilities as per NEC3 ECSC contract data.  
- Evaluation criteria: minimum 75/100 for Functionality; price and preference evaluation (80/20 or 90/10, depending on tender value); compliance with BBBEE and specific goals with required supporting evidence.  
- Compliance and ethics: adherence to conflict of interest, anti-corruption, confidentiality and other CIDB/PPPFA conditions.
