**This Request for Information seeks market information on a benchtop, high-containment 1L reusable fermenter system for Onderstepoort Biological Product.** Vendors with experience supplying benchtop bioreactor systems, capable of BSL-2/BSL-3 containment, and with integration options (SCADA/BioPAT, 21 CFR Part 11) should consider responding.

#### Requirements
- CSD registration and SARS tax clearance.  
- Capability to meet core specifications for a 1L benchtop system (volume 1.0–1.2L; vessel type; exhaust and gas management; agitation and speed; real-time monitoring; sensor robustness).  
- Containment architecture suitable for BSL-2/BSL-3, including dual 0.22µm exhaust filters and compact footprint for use inside a Class III cabinet or negative-pressure isolator.  
- Software/controls meeting regulatory needs (SCADA/BioPAT MFCS or PLC with 21 CFR Part 11; secure audit trails).  
- Safety: hardware interlocks for overpressure/temperature, power-failure recovery, remote operations, and automatic maintenance tracking.  
- Training packages: operational, technical, compliance, and GMP core.  
- Local support: 24–48 hour on-site response; spare parts and maintenance access.  
- Reliability: 5-year warranty; on-site spares and 10-year critical spares guarantee; grid resilience with UPS for 30 minutes.  
- Quality: ISO 9001 and CE/ASME where applicable.
