## Summary

#### Overview
**SAQA is seeking information to develop the final RFQ for the supply, installation and commissioning of a Podcast Studio and Multimedia Production Solution, including audio recording equipment, software, training and ongoing support.** Target bidders are service providers with audiovisual studio design/installation, acoustics, integration of recording/streaming workflows, training delivery, and post‑sale support experience; familiarity with public-sector procurement and POPIA compliance is advantageous.

#### Requirements
- Conduct a site assessment of the room (dimensions provided) and confirm power, data, acoustics, lighting, ventilation, and equipment placement.
- Supply all specified equipment, accessories, cables, connectors, mounting hardware, software licenses and consumables for a complete working solution.
- Deliver, assemble and install the studio desk and audio system; configure audio signal paths for recording, monitoring, streaming-ready capture and post-production workflows.
- Test and commission the solution and remedy faults identified during acceptance testing.
- Provide on-site practical training for SAQA staff for 12 months post-installation; provide user guides, license information, warranties, asset serial numbers and a final handover pack.
- Provide after-sales support and maintenance/warranty services for 60 months; equipment must be mobile for use at outside events; 3 years onsite warranty.
- Deliverables include approved site assessment/design, delivery notes, installed system, demonstration recordings, training materials, licenses/warranty docs, asset register, and commissioning handover report.
- Compliance: complete and sign SBD4; submit documents as PDF to RFQ email; adhere to POPIA requirements; SAQA may use RFQ responses to develop the final RFQ and will not appoint a bidder at this stage.
