## Summary

#### Overview
**This RFQ seeks a catering service provider to supply catering for the National Lotteries Commission Education and Awareness Workshop in the Eastern Cape.** Eligible bidders are catering service providers with experience in public-sector event catering, able to provide pre-packaged lunches, beverages, on-time delivery, waste removal, and compliant with South African food safety and procurement requirements (CSD, tax, POPIA, and BBBEE). Venue is Mt Frere Town Hall on 09 September 2026 for 150 delegates.

#### Requirements
- Fully conform to the RFQ specification (menu, quantities, delivery times) and deliver on the event date.
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with a current CSD summary report; provide SARS tax compliance status or Tax PIN.
- POPIA consent form completed and submitted.
- BBBEE documentation (Certificate or sworn affidavit).
- Municipality COA/food premises certification for Eastern Cape.
- SBD Forms (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1) properly completed and signed.
- Pricing schedule submitted (NLC Pricing Schedule) with the bid; include total price and taxes.
- Compliance with COIDA or workers’ compensation proof if requested.
- All submissions via the E-Tender Portal; hard-copy or courier submissions may be requested later (minimum 3 working days’ notice).
