## Summary

#### Overview
**PRASA invites proposals for the replacement of overhead track equipment structures (OHTE) in KwaZulu-Natal, on a once-off 12-month basis.** Bidders should be CIDB 4EP or higher with the capacity to demolish, supply, install and commission OHTE works, and to furnish the required specialist personnel. Targeted areas include KwaMashu, Umngeni, Durban, Phahla and Warner Beach. A compulsory briefing is scheduled, and documents are downloadable from the e-Tender portal.

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading: 4EP or higher (Stage 1 compliance).  
- Key personnel: Erector/Linesmen with C Green Certificate; Flagmen certificate; Project Manager with Electrical Diploma/Engineer and SACPCMP registration.  
- Scope of works: demolition/removal of old OHTE; supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of OHTE and accessories; contractor to supply all materials, equipment, security, and to number structures.  
- Compliance and documentation: mandatory returnable documents; tax compliance; CSD registration; TCS PIN; confidentiality where applicable.  
- Payment: 30 days after receipt of a correct tax invoice.  
- Site briefing and attendance: compulsory attendance with Form D; attendance must be recorded.
