#### Overview
**This RFP seeks to appoint a panel of suppliers to supply and deliver OHTE and Substations electrical materials (cables and wires) on an as-and-when-required basis for 36 months in PRASA KwaZulu-Natal.** Bidders should be capable suppliers of electrical materials across the listed categories, with relevant accreditations, quality certifications (SABS or equivalent), OTIF delivery ability, insurance cover, and compliance with tax and supplier database requirements.

#### Requirements
- Accredited by relevant bodies; materials certified/approved by SABS or equivalent.
- Ability to deliver On Time In Full (OTIF) within 21 working days after a PO.
- Insurance: works and goods, and public liability.
- Regulatory/compliance: register on National Treasury CSD; tax compliance (SARS) and provide related status/pins; adherence to POP/PP framework where applicable.
- Financial: demonstrate liquidity (e.g., cash flow indicating liquid cash > R50,000) and overall financial stability.
- Scope readiness: capable across six material categories (Cables and Wires; Signs and Licences; Insulators and Isolators; Steel Components; Consumables; General Electrical Material).
- Contract framework: readiness to sign PRASA’s Bespoke contract; participation in due diligence and potential adjustments via BAFO as needed.
- JV/Consortium rules: if applicable, provide JV/consortium agreements and allocation of responsibilities.
- Security/Confidentiality: comply with confidentiality obligations and pass security screening where required (Form F).

#### How to Apply
- Download documents from the e-Tender portal; briefing is compulsory on 12 August 2026 at PRASA KZN, Greyville (certificate of attendance required) (see ANNEXURE 2, Form D).
- Submit bids in a sealed envelope to PRASA KZN, Tender Box No.04, 65 Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Greyville, Durban Station (closing 3 September 2026 at 12:00) (see Annexures 1–2).
- Required returnables and forms (Volume 1: Mandatory Requirements, Technical Response) include Form A, Form B, Form C (Pricing), Form D–H, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, etc. Ensure originals and certified copies as prescribed (see ANNEXURE 2).
- Proof of CSD registration and SARS tax compliance (PIN/TCS) must be provided; JV parties must provide separate proof (see Form B and Form C requirements).
- Clarifications: questions by 25 August 2026; responses and briefing minutes issued by 28 August 2026 (see Section 1 and Annexure details).
- Payments: 30 days after receipt of correct tax invoices (per contract terms in the scope) and use of the PRASA Bespoke contract (see Annexure 2).
