## Summary

**REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO LEASE THE PREMISES IN EXTENT OF 16.25m2 AT ELLIOT BASIN FOR THE PORT OF CAPE TOWN FOR A PERIOD OF UP TO TEN (10) YEARS.** The space at Elliott Basin is to be leased for storage, as part of Transnet National Ports Authority’s port-land leasing. Bidder suitability includes port-related property leasing capability, ability to undertake refurbishment to fit for purpose, and compliance with tax, B-BBEE, CSD and security requirements. 

#### Requirements
- Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS or equivalent; CSD registration if no TCS; sign all tax-related proofs. 
- Central supplier database registration (CSD) prior to award; proof for foreign bidders if applicable. 
- B-BBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit; JV arrangements if applicable. 
- Returnable documents: SBD forms, JV agreements, and all other essential/returnable documents. 
- Track record: minimum 2 years’ experience; at least 2 reference letters not older than 5 years. 
- Financial viability: bank rating (latest, within 3 months) and cash flow projections; capital expenditure and maintenance plans. 
- Compliance with Employment Equity Act and confidentiality/non-disclosure where required. 
- Security considerations and due diligence as per the lease process. 
- Inspections prior to submission and alignment with Port Development Framework Plan (PDFP). 

#### How to Apply
