#### Overview
**SALGA seeks to appoint a service provider to develop two flagship legacy publications to commemorate its 30-year anniversary: a premium Coffee Table Legacy Book and a comprehensive institutional reference publication (the SALGA Compendium).** Bidders should be a multidisciplinary consortium with expertise in archival/historical research, oral history, local government analysis, editorial development, visual archive curation, digitization and preservation, and premium publication design/production. Submissions are via the SALGA supplier portal; inquiries to scm@salga.org.za.

#### Requirements
- Multidisciplinary consortium or lead service provider with demonstrated archival, oral history and local government publishing expertise.
- Deliver two outputs: 5 Coffee Table Book design/production and a four-volume SALGA Compendium, plus a digital companion.
- Compliance with archival research methodology: source-mapping, verification, oral histories, rights clearance, preservation, and metadata standards.
- Proven project team with CVs and at least 5 years’ relevant experience; include references and letters of recommendation.
- Ownership and confidentiality: SALGA owns outputs; sign confidentiality/indemnity agreements; sign a Service Level Agreement.
- Mandatory registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submission of Standard Bidding Documents (SBD forms) through the SALGA portal; 60-day bid validity.
- B-BBEE status evidence; price and budget breakdown aligned to tasks.
