## Summary

#### Overview
**The CSIR is procuring an integrated Towfish and Towing System (including design, supply, integration, testing and support).** Bidders with expertise in marine systems, underwater robotics, hydrodynamics, winch and tether engineering, and systems integration should bid, with strong engineering, project management and lifecycle-support capabilities and compliance with SA procurement rules (including CSD and tax compliance).

#### Requirements
- National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with a unique reference number.
- Tax compliance with SARS (PIN/TCS) and, for joint ventures, separate TCS/CSD for each party.
- Valid B-BBEE status certificate or consolidated scorecard.
- No fronting; PPPFA compliance and related anti-corruption safeguards.
- Submit mandatory returnable documents (Annexure E) and pricing schedule (Annexure D) as separate documents, plus standard bidding forms (Annexures A/H) and related declarations.
- Proposals must be signed by authorised persons and submitted in the prescribed two-email format.
