## Summary

#### Overview
**PRASA seeks an external service provider to implement and operationalise a Data Governance Strategy, Framework and Data Management for six months.** The engagement covers enterprise-wide governance, data quality, metadata, security/privacy (POPIA alignment), data architecture, and priority initiatives (Customer 360, Passenger Count, Integrated Financial Reporting, Train Tracking) leveraging PRASA’s Data Governance Platform (data warehouse and data lake). Suitable bidders are professional services with strong data governance, data management, analytics and architecture capabilities, and credentials such as DAMA CDMP Practitioner level (lead) and HCIE/HCIP Cloud for at least one technical resource; must be able to commit to the full six‑month term and proposed specialist team.

#### Requirements
- Nine full‑time resources for the term (as per Annexure B) including Data Governance Lead, Privacy/Information Governance Specialist, Power BI Specialist, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Architect, Data Quality/Metadata Specialist, Data Analyst and Business Analyst/Change Management Lead; availability for six months. 
- Lead must be DAMA CDMP Practitioner level or equivalent; lead and team to include HCIE-Cloud/HCIP-Cloud certification for at least one technical person. 
- Mandatory security/compliance: Information security certification or ISO/IEC 27001; B-BBEE certificate; CSD registration number; SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; CIPC registration; copies of directors’ IDs. 
- Alignment with POPIA/privacy controls, governance policies, data lifecycle controls and the ability to deliver the specified governance framework, operating model, policies, data architecture, data lineage, and priority initiatives. 
- Pricing to be submitted in Annexure A; CVs and certified qualifications to be provided per Annexure B; pricing and governance deliverables must be in the appropriate sections. (RFQ Spec - PRASA Data Governance and Management)
