## Summary

#### Overview
**Request for quotation for development of exemplar assessment tasks, assessment instruments, marking memorandums, rubrics and mapping documents for GETC: Mining & Minerals Electives.** The MQA seeks an assessment body with expertise in developing Umalusi/SAQA-aligned materials to cover Fundamental components (Language, Literacy and Communication; Mathematical Literacy/Mathematics), Core (Life Orientation) and Vocational Specialisation streams in Mining & Minerals (e.g., Underground Hardrock, Underground Coal, Surface Excavations, Small Scale Mining, CLAS, Diamond Processing, Jewellery Manufacturing, Metallurgy). Deliverables include Exemplar Assessments, Assessment Instruments, Memoranda, Mapping Matrix and related rubrics, to be supplied in editable Word format.

#### Requirements
- Fully aligned to registered Unit Standards and compliant with Umalusi QA requirements and SAQA standards
- Materials that meet fairness, validity, reliability, sufficiency, authenticity and workplace relevance
- Deliverables as per Annexure: Exemplar Assessments, Assessment Instruments, Memoranda, Mapping Matrix; intellectual property to MQA
- Evaluation criteria: 30% Relevant Experience; 25% Mining & Minerals subject expertise; 25% Assessment development experience; 20% Cost
- Pricing to be provided in the Pricing Schedule, including VAT
