#### Requirements
- Complete RFQ document, on company letterhead; quotes emailed to the specified SAFCOL address.
- Returnable documents: Latest Tax Clearance, Latest BBBEE certificate (SANAS-accredited) or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE, CSD report or MAQA/MAAA number, ID copies of directors.
- Signed SBD forms; joint ventures to provide consolidated BEE certificate.
- Evidence of previous forestry manual/hand-roll thinning experience (minimum two years) with reference letters.
- Compliance with SAFCOL SHEQ standards, BOPs, FSC principles, OHS Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act; safety system on SAFCOL property.
- Labour requirements: local labour where practical, valid IDs/work permits, WCF and UIF, minimum wage, employment contracts, medical screenings, current training certificates.
- Equipment and personnel: minimum on-site team (7 chainsaw operators, 10 manual stackers, 8 log scalers/pushers); machines in good order; SAQA-certified chainsaw operators with annual refresher training.
- Ancillary equipment and vehicles: PPE, fire extinguishers, radios, first aid, driver with valid LIC/PrDP, roadworthy vehicles, seat belts, etc.; on-site supervision by qualified personnel.
- Public liability with appropriate extension; pricing in R/m³ VAT inclusive.
- Non-compliance may pause operations; price may be accepted in whole or part; RFQ validity 60 days.
- Evaluation: Phase 1 Administrative, Phase 2 Mandatory (including experience proof), Phase 3 Price and Specific Goals (80/20, max 100 points; 20 points for 51%+ Black Owned, etc.).
