## Summary

#### Overview
**RFQ to appoint a service provider with carpentry skills for the installation of exhibition drywalling.** Suitable bidders are those with proven high-quality drywall installation experience, ability to work in a public museum environment, and capability to deliver shop drawings, on-site installation, finishing, and temporary deinstallation (June 2027). Evidence of at least five comparable projects in the last five years is required (Annexure A).

#### Requirements
- Proven experience: portfolio with at least two relevant projects in the last ten years, including photos, dates, and client contacts.
- Site verification: compulsory site visit, take measurements on-site, confirm dimensions before fabrication.
- Compliance: adherence to SANS 10400, OHS regulations, dust control, protection of museum finishes, and site regulations.
- Scope deliverables: supply, delivery, installation of temporary dry walls (including ceiling/top and finishes), materials, fixings, and deinstallation; post-installation snagging and waste removal.
- Administrative documents: active CSD report, SARS Tax Compliance PIN, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Annexure B OH&S, signed Annexure A, and complete pricing.
- Project deadlines: onsite installation 26–30 October 2026; deinstallation in June 2027.
- Pricing: detailed cost schedule (VAT inclusive) for the full contract duration; quotes must prevent post-award variations.
- Evaluation: best value approach with 80/20 price-preference weighting; HDI/Black ownership points apply.
