## Summary

#### Overview
**CSIR invites bids for the supply of professional training of Motor System Optimisation (MSO) for two end-user and expert-level courses offered by the NCPC-SA to CSIR in the Western Cape Region.** The contract covers classroom-based MSO training delivered by NCPC-SA, including pre-training planning, candidate coordination, and post-training reporting (Annexure A). Proposals are to be submitted electronically to tender@csir.co.za with RFQ No 6772/14/10/2026 as reference, and the RFQ remains valid for 90 days from closing. Enquiries may be directed to the same email, with a last date of 12/10/2026 for questions. 

#### Requirements
- An expert level certificate in NCPC-SA MSO courses (or acceptable alternatives: participation in UNIDO MSO course material development, or MSO expert-level technical committee involvement). (Table 2 – Mandatory Returnables) 
- Valid COIDA or equivalent proof of good standing with a recognized insurer. 
- At least one reference letter describing the project scope and bidder’s role. 
- Submit pricing using the Pricing Schedule (Annexure B) or a company-letterhead quotation aligned to Annexure B. 
- Evidence of tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD registration; where applicable, separate TCS/PIN for joint ventures/sub-contractors. 
- BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to claim preference points (Annexure E). 
- Complete Annexure C (SBD 1) and Annexure D (SBD 4); Annexure F (Mutual NDA). 
- Returnable documents must be submitted by the closing date; ensure compliance with Elimination Criteria. 
- If applicable, provide the required documents for any consortium or sub-contracting arrangement (separate TCS PINs and CSD numbers). (Annexure references: A,B,C,D,E,F)
