## Summary

#### Overview
**SAFCOL seeks the supply and delivery of Lookout Guards for Jessievale Plantation (six-month engagement).** Bidders should be security/guarding service providers with fire-lookout capability and forestry experience, able to meet SAFCOL’s governance and procurement requirements (B-BBEE SANAS or EME/QSE affidavit, CSD registration, tax clearance, COID, and liability insurance).

#### Requirements
- Compliance and certifications:
  - Fully completed RFQ with company letterhead; return all SBD forms.
  - B-BBEE verification (SANAS-accredited) or EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
  - CSD registration (or register within 7 working days of award).
  - SARS tax clearance.
- Pre-qualifications (Phase 2/Mandatory):
  - COID Act registration/good standing.
  - Public liability insurance (minimum: see document variant; Fire Lookout Guards.pdf specifies R5,000,000; Lookout Guards.pdf specifies R2,000,000).
  - Bank funds: latest bank statement showing at least R160,000 available (or combined funds for JV).
  - ID copies of company directors.
- Scope/operational:
  - Team composition per Lookout: X3 guards + X1 relief per lookout; PPE, training (first aid, lookout training, SHE rep), tools (binoculars, radios, etc.).
- Additional:
