#### Overview
**Procurement of a fully managed enterprise NGFW solution for 36 months, including hardware, licensing, installation, configuration, commissioning, ongoing support and security management.** Bidders should be IT/security integrators with NGFW deployment experience, VPN support, centralized management, and the ability to provide a 36-month managed service for Ekurhuleni Housing Company (RFQ EHC/FW/06/2026). #### Requirements
- Technical scope: supply and rental of an NGFW appliance for 36 months; install, configure, test, migrate existing configs, provide replacement hardware as needed; support site-to-site and remote VPN, stateful firewall, centralized management, logging. Include minimum security bundle features (IPS, Web Filtering, Application Control, DNS Security, SSL Inspection, Threat Intelligence, ATP, Botnet detection).  
- Licensing: all licenses for 36 months (UTP or equivalent, centralized management, centralized logging).  
- Managed services: firewall configuration/admin, policy management, backups, change/patch management, incident management, monthly reviews, threat detection.  
- VPN: configuration/management for up to 40 remote users; provisioning/deprovisioning, monitoring, secure remote access.  
- Support: remote and on-site, fault diagnosis, health checks, escalations, maintenance.  
- Evaluation: 80/20 price vs specific goals; specific goals include HDI, Women, Disability, Youth, Within Ekurhuleni (points scheme (MBD 6.1)). Local content declarations required (MBD 6.2). (MBD 6.1, MBD 6.2)
