## Summary

#### Overview
**GAAL invites bids for thirty-six months of portable two-way air band transceiver radios, including supply as and when required, servicing, repairs, routine maintenance and monthly subscription of airtime (iTalk Non-NFC), to be provided at Polokwane International Airport.** Suitable bidders are radio equipment suppliers with ICASA-registered radios, a proven maintenance capability, and experience in airport operations and interoperability with ATC communications.

#### Requirements
- Provide portable two-way air band radios (x20) with servicing, repairs, routine maintenance and airtime subscription; ensure compatibility with current ATC radios and non-NFC portable radios.
- Radios must cover a minimum 10 km radius and supply an apron operations frequency channel approved by ICASA.
- Radios must be traceable with a verifiable track record in portable two-way radios and be compatible with the airport’s communication systems.
- Administrative/compliance readiness: complete all required bid documents, including SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Pricing Schedule, and CSD registration; provide proof of tax compliance and other required verifications.
