## Summary

#### Overview
**Eskom is seeking information and demonstrations of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) software via a Request for Information (RFI) process.** Suppliers of ETRM software and related IT/fintech services are invited to provide product information and participate in demonstrations to inform Eskom’s strategy for future energy trading operations in SA's evolving market.

#### Requirements
- Demonstrated capabilities across ETRM functions (trade capture, automated bid-to-bill, settlements, risk modeling, P&L, regulatory compliance, market data feeds, asset optimization, carbon accounting, and AI-enabled scenario analysis).
- Ability to conduct and document product demonstrations and supply information; RFI is information-gathering and not a procurement guarantee.
- Compliance with submission rules for electronic tendering (PDF/Excel formats, size limits) and registration on Eskom eTendering; public access may require a CSD number.

#### How to Apply
- Deadline: 06 November 2026; 10:00 SA time per the RFI document (RFI rev1.pdf). Submission via Eskom eTendering site; electronic upload of PDFs/Excel; max 500 MB per document, total 4 GB; no zip; no hard copy; ensure submission status is complete.
