## Summary

#### Overview
**Resurfacing of streets in the CAM area, including asphalt surfacing, base repairs, upgrading gravel streets to asphalt and constructing gravel sidewalks in Bredasdorp and Struis Bay.** Works cover ~27,000m2 of asphalt, 580m2 of upgraded gravel to asphalt, and 1,500m2 of gravel sidewalks. Suitable bidders are civil road-construction contractors with CIDB 5 CE (or higher), registered on CSD, and able to provide a Tax Compliance PIN; willing to attend a compulsory site meeting and to follow the municipality’s procurement rules. 

#### Requirements
- CIDB registration of at least 5 CE (or higher). (see advert) 
- Tax Compliance PIN submitted with tender. 
- Registered on Accredited Supplier Database (CSD). 
- Compulsory clarification/site meeting (23 Jul 2026, 12:00). One representative per tenderer. 
- Tenders to be submitted on Municipality-issued documents in a sealed envelope with the tender number, description, and closing date. 
- Bid deposit/payment: non-refundable fee of R375; payment to Absa account (reference SCM7 Company Name). Proof of payment required. 
- Evaluation: 70/100 functionality threshold; 50 points for Company (or JV) Experience and 50 for Site Agent Experience. 
- Preference: 80/20 (Price 80; Specific Goals 20: B-BBEE status level contributor 10; Locality 10). 
- CIDB/other registrations may be required as per policy; municipality reserves right not to award.
