## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of rental/leasing of three X-ray machines and three walk-through metal detectors for GCIS for a period of one year.** GCIS invites bidders to provide rental services for security screening equipment (X-ray machines and walk-through detectors) at Tshedimosetso House, Hatfield, with installation, training, maintenance and RFID asset tracking under a 12-month SLA.

Bidders should have proven experience in X-ray and metal-detection equipment, capacity for quarterly maintenance and 24-hour repair/replacement, and supply of manuals and operator training. Administrative eligibility requires CSD registration, SARS Tax Compliance, GCIS PFMA SCM compliance, and BBBEE documentation; South African bidders are preferred.

#### Requirements
- Proven experience in supplying/leasing X-ray machines and walk-through detectors; ability to install, commissioning and train GCIS staff.
- RFID-based asset tracking and included software; complete manuals in delivery sets.
- Maintenance: quarterly preventive maintenance, repairs within 24 hours or replacement; SLA for service levels.
- Tools of trade: vehicles, trained technicians, administrator, and equipment for deployment.
- Documentation: CSD number; SBD 1, SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; GCC; BBBEE documentation; reference letters for similar lease services.
- Compliance: GCIS PFMA SCM requirements; preferred SA bidders; vetting and contractual terms (GCC/SCC) apply.
