## Summary

#### Overview
**RFQ for the design, supply, installation, testing and certification of lifting systems for cooling towers at Ushaka Marine World.** Bidders should be qualified lifting-equipment manufacturers/contractors capable of turnkey engineering, fabrication, corrosion-protected installation, testing, certification and commissioning for marine/ coastal environments. Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini Supplier Portal is required, with CIDB grading 1ME or higher, tax clearance (or SARS PIN/TCS) and at least two reference projects of a similar nature.

#### Requirements
- Registered on CSD and eThekwini Supplier Portal
- Active CIDB grading 1ME or higher
- Tax clearance status or SARS TCS PIN (foreign bidders may require Part B questionnaire)
- Valid Coida/Good Standing; proof of SARS status; CSD number if no TCS
- Public liability insurance minimum R500,000 (prior to award)
- Completed MBD forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; bid on official letterhead
- At least two traceable references for similar work
- Site briefing attendance and full compliance with admin requirements
- Bids must comply with 80/20 price/ specific-goals framework (as applicable)
