## Summary

#### Overview
**RFQ for a technical accounting review and independent accounting opinion**. South African Tourism seeks a suitably qualified independent accounting expert to perform an independent technical accounting review and issue a final independent accounting opinion on GRAP disclosures, including the accounting for foreign currency translation reserves and revaluation. The bidder should be a SAICA-registered CA(SA) with independence, capacity to meet milestones (commencement around 20 Oct 2026; draft by 13 Nov 2026; final by 18 Nov 2026) and ability to coordinate with SAT’s external auditors.

#### Requirements
- SAICA-registered Chartered Accountant as engagement partner
- Demonstrated technical accounting expertise in GRAP and financial reporting
- Evidence of at least three comparable assignments in the last five years
- Independence and disclosure of any conflicts of interest
- Professional indemnity insurance and quality-control arrangements
- Capacity to meet the timetable and availability for the engagement
- Transfer of working papers and ability to assist external auditors as needed
