#### Overview
**Procurement of an energy modelling software platform (licensing, installation, training, and ongoing support) to simulate distributed energy systems for agricultural operations.** Bidders should be software vendors or system integrators with DER modelling capabilities, able to supply licenses (perpetual and/or subscription), installation, training, and a minimum one-year maintenance/support, plus required documentation and compliance with SA procurement rules. 

#### Requirements
- Software capable of modelling Solar PV, battery storage, grid/off-grid, and hybrids; include load forecasting, dispatch optimization, and life-cycle financials (LCOE, NPV, IRR).
- Licensing options: perpetual and/or subscription; at least one user; scalable licenses; IT governance compliant.
- Deliverables: active licenses, installed software, configuration report, training completion, manuals, signed SLA, post-implementation support plan.
- Mandatory bid documents: price quotation, at least two signed reference letters for Energy Modelling Software, company profile/product brochure showing compliance with the scope.
- Compliance: tax (SARS PIN or TCS), CSD registration or PIN; complete SBD 4 (conflict of interest) and SBD 6.1 (BBBEE/Specific Goals).
- Confidentiality agreement and general due diligence as part of bid evaluation.
