## Summary

#### Overview
**Hiring of generators for the November–December 2026 examinations at Pietermaritzburg, Howard College and Westville campuses.** The RFQ seeks a generator hire/temporary power supplier able to deliver, install and support power for university examinations across multiple campuses; suitable bidders are providers of generator rental and on-site power solutions with capacity to service the specified sites. 

#### Requirements
- RFQ documents are available on request during the stated window; requests must be emailed to Aphiwe Madinga (Madingaa@ukzn.ac.za) between 23 Oct 2026 10:00 and 27 Oct 2026 11:00. (Advert Notice RFQ UKZN 76 26.pdf)
- Submissions are electronic only; hard copies, faxes, or late quotes are not accepted. 
- All offers must be submitted to Centralprocurement@ukzn.ac.za with the RFQ number and project name in the subject line. 
- BBBEE is a consideration in the procurement process (Price & BBBEE 80/20). 
- RFQ returnables will be specified in the RFQ document and must be provided as part of the bid.
