## Summary

**RFQ for calibration of Gas Alert Microclip XL gas detectors in Clanwilliam (3 units) to ensure accurate gas monitoring.** This opportunity is for calibration service providers with instrumentation calibration capability, specifically for Microclip XL detectors, and with SA SCM compliance, relevant certifications, and tax/BBBEE registrations.

#### Requirements
- Calibrate 3 Gas Alert Microclip XL detectors; deliver within 7–14 days to Clanwilliam.
- Technician must hold a Gas Detection Service Level 2 Training Certificate (submit with quotation).
- Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); provide proof with quotation.
- Submit MBD4, MBD8, MBD9; include a valid SARS tax clearance or tax status PIN; provide VAT proof if applicable.
- Submit B-BBEE verification certificate (SANAS/SANAS-verified or CIPC/affidavit) to claim preference points.
- Complete MBD6.1 for 80/20 preference points; Locality proof for locality points.
- Provide POPI consent; accept GCC and other general conditions; quotation validity for 30 days.
- Ensure non-state employee status and absence from tender defaulter lists; disclose any conflicts (MBD4/MBD8/MBD9).
