## Summary

#### Overview
**To provide Guarding Services for the South African Post Office – Mpumalanga Northern Region, for a maximum of 12 months.** The contract requires PSIRA-registered security providers (Grade B or C, armed or unarmed), Mpumalanga footprint, 12-hour shift operations, a 24/7 control room with firearms management, electronic patrol monitoring, and compliance with tax, BBBEE, and PSPRA/CSD requirements.

#### Requirements
- Qualifications and certifications
- PSIRA registration for at least 1 year prior to bid closing; valid PSIRA membership certificate and PSIRA Good Standing
- Firearm competency certificate for Armoury Manager; Firearm Handling Procedure; Firearms Inventory and valid permits
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; SARS tax compliance PIN or TCS; COIDA/Workmans Comp compliance
- Minimum 1 year guarding experience in the past 2 years; client-verifiable references (Annexure BR)
- Operational footprint: at least one Mpumalanga branch with Secure Firearm Vault/Armoury and dedicated Secure Control Room; 24/7 operation; PSIRA-registered staff
- Security systems: electronic guard monitoring system, CCTV coverage, validated communication systems, backup power
- Documentation: signed Annexure BC (compliance), Annexure BR (client verification), SBD forms, pricing via Annexure A
- Additional: BBBEE requirements (minimum ownership/governance criteria)
