#### Overview
**Servicing and maintenance of back up generators for Matatiele Local Municipality.** This open tender seeks a service provider to perform scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, on-site repairs and related support for the municipality’s backup power generators. Bidders should have generator maintenance capability, electrical/mechanical expertise and CIDB ME2 or higher, plus compliance withTax Clearance (SARS), CSD registration, and other SCM requirements.

#### Requirements
- CIDB Grade ME2 or higher (attach certified copy)
- Wireman’s license
- Valid COID/Letter of Good Standing
- Tax clearance certificate or SARS PIN (TCS) and tax status
- Confirmation of registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and full report
- Completion of MBD forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9
- Schedules A and B (Past Experience) and, if applicable, JV/consortium documents
- Prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT; compliance with PPPFA 80/20; minimum functionality threshold of 90 to proceed
- CIDB/experience requirements, including past generator servicing capability; Wireman’s license; COID/COIDA requirements

- Submission deadline: 02 November 2026 at 10:00 (closing time); late bids will not be accepted. 
- Submission method: sealed bids deposited in the MATATIELE SCMU bid box at New BTO Offices; do not submit by email; use the official tender documents.
