## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of servicing, repairs and maintenance of Capricorn District Municipality's fire and disaster management service vehicles, open to vehicle maintenance providers with Manufacturer Builder of Fire Engines (Vehicles) and Retail Motor Industry (RMI) accreditations, within the CDM area, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and required licenses.** The contract covers routine, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, major overhauls, batteries, tyres, emergency equipment, towing, and 24/7 breakdown support, with a three-year SLA expectation under the project scope.

#### Requirements
- Registration with Manufacturer Builder of Fire Engines (Vehicles) and Retail Motor Industry (RMI).
- Workshop located within Capricorn District Municipality area; mandatory site inspection 15 October 2026 at 10:30 (Function Room, 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance/repair of fire and rescue vehicles.
- Valid business license to operate a vehicle repair shop.
- Use of genuine/new parts; approval required for recon/after-market parts.
- Roadworthy testing for vehicles above 3.5 tons annually before licensing.
- 24-hour breakdown service, towing, and turnaround time not exceeding 5 days.
- Ability to perform routine, scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and major overhauls; provide certificates of compliance.
- Compliance with Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or CSD number; JV arrangements require separate TCS/CSD for each party.
- Pricing, service level commitments and capacity to execute within the CDM context; CIDB only relevant if construction work is involved.
