## Summary

#### Overview
**This Request for Information seeks South African–made payloads and integration support for the G20 Satellite Mission for Environment and Climate Observation.** SANSA invites South African original equipment manufacturers to provide publicly releasable information on flight-heritage payloads (or fully flight-qualified with conformance evidence) and on engineering-support services for SA and ISRO facilities, with a view to a future procurement. Key dates: launch planned Feb 2027; payload delivery by Sept 2026. Payloads must meet mass, volume, power, and interface constraints, and include SA-made status and integration support capabilities. This is an information-gathering exercise, not a binding contract.

#### Requirements
- a) Payload must be South African made (designed/manufactured in SA by an SA-registered entity). (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
- b) Payload must have flight heritage, or be fully flight qualified with conformance certificates. (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
- c) Available for delivery within three months of contract signature; qualified flight model to SANSA or lead facility by Sept 2026. (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
- d) Capability to provide engineering support in SA and at ISRO facilities (integration, testing, pre-launch, post-launch, early operations). Maximum two SANSA-funded engineers. WA process for foreign deployments. (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
- e) Compliance with technical specs: mass ≤ 8 kg; volume ≤ 200×200×350 mm; power ≤ 30 W; interfaces LVDS/1553 (or equivalent); optical configuration, spectral bands, GSD, swath, FOV ±15°, lifetime in LEO, data handling, and other specified parameters. (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
- f) Orbit/interface: 720–800 km Sun-Synchronous, 12:00 LTDN; data/telemetry/telecommand protocols; time stamping; CAD model availability. (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
- g) IP/licensing: declare IP ownership/licensing, no third-party restrictions, export data rights; confirm SA-made status for final assembly/qualification. (RFIFOR~1.PDF)
