#### Overview
**Provision of 600 hours of SASL interpreting and voice-over services to GCIS.** This is a professional services contract for SASL interpreting, voice-over, and related material production across South Africa, open to providers with SASL-qualified interpreters and the capacity to deploy a team (2–4 interpreters for multi-day events) and to deliver both on-site and virtual services. Key qualifications are a minimum staff of four SASL interpreters and SAQA-accredited qualifications (NQF level 6 Language Practice with SASL as a specialization).

#### Requirements
- Minimum staff of 4 SASL interpreters; SAQA-accredited NQF 6 Language Practice with SASL specialization.
- Demonstrated SASL capabilities via: (i) a 10-minute video of four interpreters for SASL interpreting and voice-over; (ii) a 10-minute video of simultaneous SASL interpreting with at least two interpreters; videos must be uploaded to USB and submitted with the proposal; ensure video integrity (no corruption).
- Competency in both signing and voice interpreting.
- Dedicated account manager with detailed CV; ability to respond to GCIS queries; contract management via SLA.
- References: at least 3 signed reference letters from recent clients (last 5 years).
- Resources: access to transport/network for SA-wide service, internet connectivity (20–50 Mbps download, 5–20 Mbps upload), GCIS studios access for recording.
- Rates: submit quotes per hour (not exceeding R1,600 per interpreter) with VAT included; transport at government fuel rates.
- Compliance: VAT/TCS/CSD tax clearance requirements; positive vetting and standard GCC/SCC contract terms; SLA to follow.
