## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement: supply and delivery of a MAN TGM 18,2540 4x4 BB CH truck with a HIAB e-X162 Hi Pro E-4 crane to SARAO, Carnarvon.** Bidders should be OEMs or authorized dealers with proven experience in truck-mounted cranes, able to service within approximately 650 km of Carnarvon, and capable of meeting SARAO’s equipment, service, and warranty requirements. Submissions must follow the NRF/SARAO SKAR/21/2026-27 process and be valid for 90 days.

#### Requirements
- OEM or authorised dealer for the HIAB crane and MAN truck; capable of supplying the exact specified equipment.  
- Demonstrated experience supplying truck-mounted cranes; provide customer reference letters on official letterhead with contact details.  
- Comprehensive service plan: 3-year plan; on-site maintenance preferred; operations within 650 km radius; basic service at 20,000 km (or 400 engine hours) and major service at 100,000 km (or 2,000 hours).  
- Warranties: HIAB crane – 2-year general; 5-year structural; Truck – 24 months or 300,000 km.  
- Delivery to SARAO Klerefontein Support Base, Carnarvon; delivery during SARAO hours.  
- Compliance and documentation: SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1 mandatory; SBD3.2 pricing; CSD registration; SARS Tax Compliance PIN; BBBEE evidence; separate JV documents if applicable.  
- Insurance and risk: required general public liability insurance; COID-related cover where applicable.
