## Summary

#### Overview
**Supply and delivery of portable high‑pressure breathing air compressors for Bergrivier Municipality until 30 June 2027.** Bidders should be competent, experienced service providers capable of supplying breathing air compressors that meet SANS 347, with compliance to CSD/TCS, BBBEE, and related SCM requirements; and able to deliver within 3 weeks of order.

#### Requirements
- Equipment must meet SANS 347 and be portable, capable of charging cylinders to about 300 bars (3‑stage, 300 bar working) with calibration certificates.  
- Bidders must be registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN/Tax clearance; include CSD number or TCS PIN.  
- Submit an original/verified BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; complete MBD forms (MB4/MB7/MB8/MB9/MB10) and declare interests.  
- Provide datasheet for offered products; include at least three references with letters not older than 2 years; prove a workshop within 200 km of Piketberg.  
- Pricing must be fixed and include VAT; 120‑day bid validity; delivery within 3 weeks after order; penalties of R1000/day for delays.  
- Locality and BBBEE contribution affect an 80/20 scoring (price 80, BBBEE 10, locality 10).  
- Late, incomplete, or faxed bids are not considered; no quotes from state employees.

- Include Tax Clearance/TCS PIN or CSD number; BBBEE certificate; recent municipal accounts for directors; three references with letters.  
- Submit sealed bid in the Bid Box at 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg, 7320, before 12:00 on 13 August 2026 (public opening) (FQ 8/2/30-2026 MN164-2026).  
- Envelope must be clearly marked with the quotation number; late or electronic submissions will not be considered (FQ document).
