## Summary

#### Overview
**Supply and delivery of cleaning and maintenance products (highly concentrated & concentrated) for a period of 36 months.** Knysna Municipality invites bids from suppliers of cleaning chemicals and related maintenance products capable of municipal-scale supply and delivery over 36 months.

#### Requirements
- Bids must be sealed in an envelope, clearly marked with bid number/title, and submitted to the SCM Unit by the deadline; telephonic, facsimile, e-mail, and late bids will not be accepted.
- Bids must remain valid for 180 days after the closing date; validity extension may be requested by the Municipality.
- Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation issued (no alternative submissions).
- Evaluation uses an 80/20 preference points system, governed by the Council SCM Policy, the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (2000) and the 2022 amended Regulations.
- The Municipality may withdraw or re-advertise the invitation or accept part of a bid; there is no obligation to accept the lowest bid or the highest scoring bid.
- No bids will be considered from persons in the service of the state (as defined by the regulations).
