## Summary

#### Overview
**Supply and delivery of material for Ugu District Municipality, including agricultural seedlings and related equipment (industrial machines, safety overlocker, embroidery machines and design software).** Bidders should have capabilities in agricultural inputs and manufacturing/equipment supply, with ability to deliver to Oslo Beach within the stated scope. Open to bidders meeting PPPFA 2022, tax clearance, CSD registration and CIPC registration.

#### Requirements
- CSD registration and CIPC registration; tax compliance (SARS) with PIN where applicable
- Completion and submission of official bidding documents: MBD1 (Part A & B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8 and MBD9; certified IDs; proof of CSD; tax clearance status; declarations and any disability proof if applicable
- Evaluation uses PPPFA rules with 80/20 weighting (price 80, specific goals 20); specific goals include ownership (EME/QSE black ownership), promotion of local enterprise within the district, and other allowed goals
- Bids must comply with GCC and any applicable special conditions; no award to persons in the service of the state; bids must be valid for a defined period (30 days) and are not to be submitted by fax/email/late
